How to use this

What it does

Builds a dated posting plan: every day you post on each platform, for up to 13 weeks, with your content pillars taken in turn so each theme comes round evenly. You write the post idea against each date and tick it off when it's done.

What you'll need

  • A start date and how many weeks
  • The days you post on each platform
  • Your content pillars — the 3 to 5 themes you post about

Steps

  1. Pick the days you post on each platform.
  2. List your pillars, one per line.
  3. Write an idea against each post, then download the CSV, the calendar file or the PDF.

Reading the result

Each row is one post: the date, the platform, the pillar it's for and your idea. The CSV opens in Excel or Google Sheets; the .ics file adds every post as an all-day event to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.

Tips

  • Post only as often as you can keep up — consistency beats volume.
  • Three to five pillars is enough; more and none come round often.
  • Batch the writing: fill a whole week's ideas in one sitting.

What is a content calendar?

A content calendar is a schedule of what you'll post, where and when. At its simplest it's a list of dates and platforms with an idea next to each.

Content pillars are the few themes you post about again and again — behind the scenes, tips, finished work, questions to your audience. Rotating them keeps a feed varied without starting from a blank page every day.

Why creators use one

Deciding what to post on the day is where most posting schedules break. A plan made in one sitting turns posting into doing, not deciding.

Common mistakes

  • Planning more than you can make. a plan you can't keep is worse than a smaller one you can.
  • One pillar every day. rotate them so the feed doesn't repeat itself.
  • No room to react. leave the odd slot open for news and trends.

FAQ

How often should I post?
The platforms don't publish a number. Pick a frequency you can keep for months — consistency matters more than volume.
Can I import it into Google Calendar?
Yes: download the .ics file and import it (Google Calendar → Settings → Import). Each post becomes an all-day event.
Is my plan saved?
Yes, in this browser, so it's there when you come back on the same device. It isn't sent anywhere.
