CAPTD turns a finished photo, video, voice note or written description into a complete, platform-ready social media Content Pack — in seconds, with no signup. This page walks through every part of it, so nothing in the app is a mystery.
Upload → Analyse → Generate → Publish. Start at the workspace picker and choose the page that matches what you're posting: Snapshot (a photo, single or batch), Video (a video), Slideshow (2–10 photos and/or videos in order), or Spotlight (a business profile, an episode, or one photo or video to bring in clients). Every workspace also accepts optional typed text or a voice note as extra context on top of its primary input. Pick a Tone and a photography Style, and CAPTD writes the pack. There's no account required for your first packs; an anonymous session is created automatically so the app can work.
Photos and videos are compressed in your browser before upload (resized/re-encoded for photos, transcoded for video) so it stays fast even on a slow connection — the original file on your device is never touched. An MP4 that is already 32 MB or smaller skips the transcode and is uploaded as it is.

Every field has its own Copy, Edit and Regenerate controls — tweak just the hashtags or ask for a fresh caption without redoing the whole pack. "Copy all" copies everything the current platform actually shows, in the right order.
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Threads — each with output tailored to that platform's actual conventions, not one generic caption reused everywhere. The Snapshot workspace covers nine of the ten — every one except long-form YouTube, which needs an actual video, so it's only available in the Video and Spotlight workspaces. YouTube Shorts is available in the Snapshot, Video and Slideshow workspaces and in Spotlight's Get clients mode; Pinterest in the Snapshot and Spotlight workspaces; X and Bluesky are available in the Snapshot, Video and Spotlight workspaces but not Slideshow, since neither has a native carousel format; Threads is available in every workspace. The Slideshow workspace supports Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Threads.
In the Snapshot workspace's single-photo tab, the caption goal can be “Tell the story” or “Engage”: posts written to start a conversation. Pick Which edit? (followers vote between two edits, with a poll where the platform has one), Before and after, Ask for critique, Question hook (ends with one real question about the photo) or Behind the shot (the story of the moment, with the camera details you choose to share — shown first, editable, never stored, and never the location). Which edit? and Before and after take an optional second photo so the caption can compare the two. Every plan with Snapshot has it.
A dedicated workspace for promoting your photography business, with three modes. Campaign needs no photo or video: fill in a short business profile (target audience, product/service, campaign goal, key message, CTA, offer, brand tone), and CAPTD shifts every field toward promotion — benefit-led hooks and captions, buyer-relevant hashtags, and a standalone call-to-action line — instead of personal storytelling. Optional typed text or a voice note can still add extra context on top of the profile.
Its Episode mode promotes one podcast or YouTube episode: paste the show notes or a transcript, or upload the episode's audio — MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, OGG or WebM, up to 3 hours and 500 MB. An upload is transcribed with speaker labels and timestamps, which you correct before generating, and adds chapters, title ideas, takeaways, resources, a guest bio, clip moments and optional newsletter and blog drafts; the transcript downloads as TXT or SRT. It costs 1 pack per started hour (1–3), charged only if the transcription works, and the audio is deleted as soon as it's transcribed. You can also record in the browser (up to 30 minutes), import an episode from your podcast's RSS feed, or upload subtitles (SRT, VTT or TXT — no transcription, a normal 1-pack price). Saved templates shape how each output is written; a YouTube pack, one-click translation and a chat that answers questions from the transcript (20 per pack, with timestamps) come with it. Its Get clients mode writes a post from one photo or video so it brings enquiries. Your business details (what you shoot, where you're based, whether you travel, how people book you, anything to always mention) are asked once and saved. The caption tells the moment first, then one line on what you offer that this photo shows; CAPTD adds your booking line itself, in the right place for each platform, and never invents prices, offers, dates, awards or client names. Like Campaign mode, it comes with Solo and Studio, or with the Spotlight add-on on Pro.
Its own dedicated workspace for multi-slide posts: upload photos and/or videos in the order they should appear, and CAPTD writes one caption per slide — a connected story as people swipe — plus one overall caption for the whole post. Available on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Threads. Instagram, Facebook and Threads allow 2–10 slides mixing photo and video freely; TikTok needs 4–10 photo-only slides; YouTube Shorts allows up to 10 photo-only slides. A Stories toggle is available for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok (Threads has no Stories format) for shorter, more casual Stories-style copy.
An optional feature that learns your natural speaking style from voiceover recordings you make in the app, then nudges future captions and scripts to sound more like you. It's skipped automatically in the Spotlight workspace's campaign packs, since that workspace intentionally writes in a promotional register instead of your personal voice.
In the Snapshot workspace, upload several photos at once and generate a separate, independent Content Pack for each one, then export the results as a CSV. Your last 3 generations are also kept in a restorable strip, so you can get back to a recent pack without regenerating it.
Signing up is entirely optional and only unlocks one feature: History, which saves your generated Content Packs to your account so you can revisit them across devices. From the History page you can sign up with an email and password, or continue with Google — whichever you choose, any Content Packs you already generated anonymously carry over automatically onto the new account. Signing out always drops you back to a fresh anonymous session, so use the "Log in" link on the same page to get back into an account you already created.

CAPTD never trains AI models on your content and never sells your personal data. Uploaded photos and videos are used to generate your pack, then deleted within 90 days automatically; photos analysed by the AI Photography Assistant's AI-vision tools are deleted immediately after analysis. Every free tool that uses your location computes everything on your device — coordinates are never sent anywhere.
