CAPTD

Batch Image Resizer

Resize up to 50 photos at once — to a longest side, a width, or an exact size by cropping or fitting — and download them together as a ZIP. Resized in your browser, one by one; nothing is uploaded and nothing is added.

1. Photos

Processed entirely in your browser — your photos are never uploaded anywhere.

2. Size

px

The shape of each photo is kept.

%

Your photos are resized on this page, one at a time. They're never uploaded, nothing is saved, and the copies have no watermark. Like any re-save, the copies carry no EXIF or location data.

How to use this

What it does

Resizes a batch of photos the same way: to a longest side or a width (shape kept), or to an exact size by cropping from the centre or by fitting the whole photo on a white background. Saves JPEG at the quality you choose, or PNG, and zips them.

What you'll need

  • Up to 50 photos
  • The size you want, or a preset

Steps

  1. Choose the photos.
  2. Pick a preset or a size and how to resize.
  3. Download the ZIP — each file is named with its new size.

Reading the result

Photos are never enlarged unless you tick the box (crop and fit sizes may need to; the page tells you how many were). Re-saving also drops the photos' EXIF and location data.

Tips

  • Resize from the full-size originals, not from already-shrunk copies.
  • JPEG at 85–92% is visually clean and much smaller than PNG for photos.
  • Use 'fit' for products that mustn't be cropped, 'crop' for a tidy uniform grid.

What size should product photos be?

Etsy recommends listing photos at least 2000 px wide and high, with the first photo landscape or square, and allows 20 photos per listing. For social posts, the Social Image Sizes guide lists each platform's published sizes.

For your own website, around 2,000 px on the longest side is plenty for a sharp, quick-loading image — that's CAPTD's suggestion, not a standard.

Why sellers use it

Uploading 24 MP originals is slow and some sites reject big files; resizing a whole shoot in one go keeps every listing photo the same size and shape.

Common mistakes

  • Enlarging small photos. they get bigger, not sharper.
  • Cropping products. use fit when the whole item must show.
  • Resizing twice. each JPEG re-save loses a little — work from originals.

FAQ

Are my photos uploaded?
No. They're resized in your browser and saved straight to your device.
How many photos can I resize at once?
Up to 50. They're processed one after another so the page stays responsive.
Does it keep EXIF data?
No — the resized copies are new files with no EXIF or location data. Keep your originals.
