How to use this

What it does

Shows each lyric line on screen while it's sung — large in the centre, with the next line fading in below — over your cover art (blurred and darkened) or a colour, with the title and artist at the top. It renders the frames and the song's audio into an H.264/AAC MP4 at 24 fps, in your browser.

What you'll need

  • The song (WAV, MP3, FLAC, M4A…), up to 10 minutes
  • The lyrics: an LRC or SRT/WebVTT file, or plain lines to tap along to
  • Optionally, your cover art

Steps

  1. Add the song.
  2. Paste or load the lyrics. If they aren't timed, press Play from the start and tap once at the beginning of each line.
  3. Nudge the timing with the shift slider if the lines are early or late.
  4. Choose a shape and background, check a frame, and render.

Reading the result

The lines list shows when each line appears. Save the timing as an .lrc file to reuse it — LRC is the synced-lyrics format many players and lyric services read.

Tips

  • Tap a fraction before the singer starts the line — it reads better slightly early.
  • 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, 1:1 for feeds.
  • Pick a text colour that stands out from your cover; the background is darkened to help.

What is an LRC file?

LRC is a plain-text format for synced lyrics: each line starts with a time like [01:05.25]. Many music players and lyric services read it, and you can write one in any text editor.

SRT and WebVTT are subtitle formats with a start and end time per line — they work here too.

Why musicians use it

A lyric video is often the first video a song gets: quick to make, good for YouTube search and easy to cut into short clips for social media.

Common mistakes

  • Lines that change too fast. split long lines rather than cramming them; very short lines flash by.
  • Text that's hard to read. light text on a light cover — use the darkened background or a solid colour.
  • Using lyrics you don't have the rights to. make lyric videos of your own songs, or with permission.

FAQ

How do I sync lyrics to a song?
Paste the lyrics as plain lines, press Play from the start and tap (or press Space) at the beginning of each line. The times are saved as you go, and you can save them as an .lrc file.
What video size does it make?
1280 × 720 (16:9), 1080 × 1080 (1:1) or 720 × 1280 (9:16), as an MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio.
Which browsers can render the video?
Browsers with the WebCodecs video encoder — recent Chrome, Edge and Safari on a computer. If yours can't, the page tells you before anything is lost.
Is my song uploaded?
No. The song, lyrics and image are processed and the video is made in your browser.
