An audiogram is a short social video made from a clip of a podcast's audio, usually a still image with a moving waveform and captions, so the episode can be shared where audio alone can't be posted.
Social feeds are built for video and images, and most people scroll with the sound off.
An audiogram turns the best 30 to 60 seconds of an episode into something that can be posted on Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok, with captions so it works on mute and a waveform that shows it's audio. (In medicine, an audiogram is also the chart from a hearing test; this is a different thing.)
After recording, a host picks the 40 seconds where the guest gives her best tip. She puts the clip over the show's artwork, adds a waveform image in the brand colour and captions, and posts it as a square video with a link to the full episode.
Viewers can follow it with the sound off, and the waveform tells them there's more to hear.
